  1. Coming soon….you bastard…I want it now.
Sorry for the “you bastard.” I have no patience.

  2. It would have been up much sooner - but as always with these things the show just gets bigger and bigger.

  3. There’s something intentional about spelling Paisley wrong :)

    Downloading … please wait …

  4. Oh crap. See what happens when I’m out of Northern Ireland for any length of time?

  5. Long but interesting. Funny how politicians don’t always have an amazing grasp of the issues and consequences of their legislation. They latch onto a couple of stories or scenarios and that makes the whole thing ok.

  6. To be fair to Tim it’s hard to keep track of what’s happening in the world of the internet and how the technology is being used by a younger generation and what ‘it/the technology’ means to them.

In my ideal world we would craft a solution that reflects the concerns of those worried about their livelihood, (the musicians/labels, etc), and those who are creating/using this technology in ways that are fundamentally new and powerful in a Schumpeter “Creative Destruction” kind of way.

  7. great episode Jett…I wet myself at the last 40 seconds.

  8. Cheers Eddie - sorry to hear about your incontinence problem.

  9. Jett, you are a legend of our time. Really loved the episode. The Shafted is in good hands.

  10. Glad to hear you’re looking after the award - it belongs to all of us ’shafted’ N.I. bloggers!

  12. I am not trying to shaft the Senator, but I give you kudos for sitting through that interview. What was his girlfriend doing there?

As a music lover, and an employee of Music Row, I found this episode very interesting. Thank you.

  13. Glad you found the ep interesting E.M. - don’t know about Tim’s girlfriend - the office was kind of informal which was nice.
